Segilola Resources Operating Limited (SROL) is committed to protecting the Health and Safety of its employees, Contractors, Sub-contractors, and other interested parties through the implementation of an e?ective Occupational Health & Safety management system based on a competent workforce and a pro-active safety culture. SROL understands that good Health and Safety performance is part of achieving our long-term business goals.
Therefore, it is the commitment of Segilola Resources Operating Limited (SROL) to:
• Maintain safe operations in the execution of its core operational and business activities, Gold Mining and Processing and Exploration, for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health.
• Set objectives, targets and performance standards that encourage continual improvement in SROL’s Occupational Health & Safety management system performance as well as communicate the same to all employees, Contractors and interested parties.
• Perform activities in compliance with relevant local and international regulations and industry best practice.
• Ensure that all occupational risks and hazards to which employees, interested parties, assets and the environment are exposed to are identified, assessed and that control measures for their mitigation are clearly defined and implemented.
• Involve workers representatives by consultation and participation in the decision-making process of the Occupational Health & Safety management system.
• Provide adequate Health, Safety and Environmental training, resources, and tools to enable personnel to perform their work competently and with HSE consciousness.
• Integrate Occupational Health and Safety into all workplace activities.
• Continually improve the SROL Occupational Health and Safety Management System (“SROLSafe”) to ensure that it remains relevant to our activities and the changing business landscape.
The Company maintain this Occupational Health and Safety Policy andcommunicates it within the organization as well as to relevant Interested Parties.
