On December 21, 2024, Segilola Resources Operating Limited (SROL) and SINIC Engineering Limited came together to host the 4th Annual Host Communities Children's Christmas Party, creating a memorable experience for over 1,400 children from their host communities.

The event was a joyful celebration filled with games, entertainment, and gift-giving. Each child received a branded school bag, books, Capri-Sun drinks, and snacks. Engaging activities, including games, quiz competitions, and dance contests, kept the children entertained, with winners receiving exciting prizes such as drawstring bags, water bottles, plates, storybooks, and toys.

A highlight of the event was the inclusion of family games, which brought together over 200 families in a spirit of unity and fun. Activities included cup stacking challenges, quizzes, and dancing competitions. Winning families were rewarded with practical gifts such as rice, spaghetti, eggs, dried catfish, semovita, vegetable oil, cartons of Indomie noodles and many other exciting gifts.

Madhurii Sarkar-Amoda, SROL's Community Development and Stakeholder Manager, shared her thoughts: "The SROL Host Communities Christmas Party has become a cherished annual tradition that fosters unity among our host communities and the organization. It’s a day we all look forward to."
