Osun State, Nigeria – November 13, 2024: Segilola Resources Operating Limited (SROL) is proud to announce the successful completion of its second annual comprehensive community medical outreach, held on November 8th and 9th, 2024. This initiative underscores SROL's unwavering commitment to the well-being and health of its host communities (Imogbara, Odo-Ijesha and Iperindo) and surrounding areas.

This year’s outreach saw significant expansion and impact, serving nearly 2,000 community members, including individuals from the local prison system. The two-day event featured a range of healthcare services, from patient consultations and advanced diagnostic assessments to the distribution of essential medications and the scheduling of surgical procedures. In addition, the outreach emphasized disease prevention through targeted health promotion and awareness campaigns aimed at fostering long-term wellness.

Key highlights of the 2024 medical outreach include:

• Distribution of 98 pairs of reading glasses to improve vision for individuals in need.
• Scheduling of eye surgery for 17 patients identified during the outreach.
• Booking of general surgery for over 47 patients requiring urgent surgical intervention.
• Establishment of ongoing follow-up care for more than 85 individuals with chronic systemic diseases.
