Overview:
The Segilola Scholarship Scheme is an annual merit-based initiative designed to support academically bright students from disadvantaged and vulnerable backgrounds in pursuing secondary and tertiary education. The 4th edition involved a rigorous screening process, including written exams and oral interviews, to identify deserving beneficiaries. During the programme, 34 students from SROL’s host communities received financial support to aid their educational journey.

Project Impact:

• 34 students received scholarships to support secondary and tertiary education
• Iperindo Community: 15 students (7 tertiary, 8 secondary)
• Imogbara Community: 13 students (5 tertiary, 8 secondary)
• Odo-Ijesha Community: 6 students (2 tertiary, 4 secondary)
• Enabled access to quality education for students from disadvantaged backgrounds
• Reinforced SROL’s commitment to education, youth development, and community empowerment.
