Overview:
Segilola Resources Operating Limited (SROL) launched the SWIP initiative in 2021 to provide sustainable economic benefits to women in its host communities through the Community Development Agreements.

This edition focused on empowering 30 women (ten from each host community) by providing entrepreneurial equipment and financial literacy training.

The initiative equips women with the resources and knowledge needed to establish and grow small businesses within their communities, fostering independence and long-term economic resilience.

Project Impact:

• Benefited 30 women across Odo-Ijesha, Iperindo, and Imogbara communities
• Donated entrepreneurial equipment such as:
  • Deep freezers and refrigerators
  • Sewing machines
  • Pepper grinding machines
  • Hair salon equipment
• Conducted financial literacy training to improve business management and sales
• Strengthened economic independence and community development through sustainable entrepreneurship.
