Overview:
Segilola Resources Operating Limited (SROL), in partnership with the Living Hope Care Foundation, organized a comprehensive medical outreach for its host communities. The initiative, supported by the State TB and Leprosy Control Program and the Institute of Human Virology of Nigeria, provided a broad range of healthcare services including screening, wellness checks, diagnosis and treatment, laboratory investigations, optical care, and surgical, obstetrical, and gynecological services. The outreach aimed to improve community health, provide critical medical interventions, and promote long-term wellness.

Project Impact:

• 1,200 cases attended, including general consultations and screenings
• 112 optical cases managed
• 78 surgical procedures completed, ranging from minor to supra-major surgeries
• 12 life-threatening emergencies addressed
• 7 new tuberculosis diagnoses identified
• Strengthened partnerships with state and community health organizations
• Provided the foundation for future surgical interventions at Daniel Awe Memorial Medical Centre
• Enhanced access to quality healthcare and underscored SROL’s commitment to community well-being
