Overview:
Segilola Resources Operating Limited (SROL) implemented the third edition of its Segilola Women Initiative Programme (SWIP), a recurring initiative aimed at empowering women in its host communities. The programme provides women with business equipment and basic financial literacy training to strengthen their entrepreneurial ventures and enhance their economic independence. This edition targeted 30 women, with 10 participants from each host community, equipping them to expand their trades and improve livelihoods.

Project Impact:

• Empowered 30 women across Odo-Ijesha, Iperindo, and Imogbara communities
• Provided equipment to support entrepreneurial ventures, including:
  • 9 palm kernel crushers
  • 6 stoning machines
  • 6 popcorn machines with 6.5 kg gas cylinders
  • 9 200-liter deep freezers
• Strengthened financial literacy and business skills for female entrepreneurs
• Enhanced economic independence and community development through targeted empowerment initiatives.
