Overview:
Segilola Resources Operating Limited (SROL) hosted its 2025 Segilola Women Initiative Programme (SWIP), celebrating 30 women entrepreneurs. The programme reflects SROL’s commitment to community development, and women’s empowerment in its host communities. Through SWIP, women received machinery and equipment to enhance their micro-enterprises.

Project Impact:

• 30 women entrepreneurs received equipment to strengthen their micro-enterprises (freezers, sewing and stoning machines, digesters, multipurpose grinders, gas burners with cooler sets)
• Promoted financial independence and entrepreneurial growth for women in host communities
• Contributed to sustainable livelihoods and inclusive economic participation across host communities
• Reinforced SROL’s position as a responsible mining company committed to social investment and community development.
